biographical info
Christopher Clause’s love of music began in 1973, after inheriting his
sister’s copy of The Beatles’ album 1962-1966 and by watching the movie HELP on
television. He taught himself how
to play guitar and then attended McMaster University’s music program as a
Classical Guitar major. From 2002 until 2010, Christopher staged 25 Beatles tribute shows
including eight IMAGINE PEACE shows celebrating the music of John Lennon. His efforts have helped raise over
$25,000 for the homeless in Hamilton and earned him THREE Hamilton Music Awards
for Musical Event of the Year By People’s Choice. He won his fourth Hamilton Music
Award for Best Religious Recording award in 2009, for his recording LOUNGE
SINGER: LIVE AT THREE 16
LOUNGE. Christopher’s new
album ROUND, received a BEST ROCK RECORDING nomination at the 2010 HMAs and is
his first record available on vinyl.
He is a direct descendent of Joseph Brant and is the current worship pastor at James Street Baptist Church in Hamilton.
