Chelsea Manders is a Toronto-based BC-born comedian/novelty musician/actor/ comedywriter.

Her comedic music has been called "Savagely funny comedy" (Toronto's NOW), "Raunchy Folk Music" (Montreal's The Hour), "Energized and entertaining" (Toronto's EYE Magazine),"Cleverly worded naughty ditties" (Montreal's Gazette), "Stinging Social Satire" (London Free Press)

A regular on the indepedent comedy scene, she co-founded two comedic folk duos, Charity & Chastity with Ingrid Haas and The Black Roses with Hayley Gratto. 

The Black Roses performed on stages such as the Canadian Comedy Awards "Best of Fest", The Comedy Network  "Cream of Comedy", CBC Radio & Television, Buddies in Bad Times (Hysteria, Bitch Salad, City of Freaks),CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Toronto International Sketch Comedy Festival, Newfoundland/Labrador Tour opening for Glen "That Canadian Guy" Foster, Fringe Festival Tour 2006 (Toronto/Montreal/London "Best Show" & "Producer's Pick") a recording with National Lampoon, and they were honored to be nominated for the Tim Sims Encouragement Award (best up-and-coming Toronto comedian).

She is currently touring her solo show, ‘Naughty Little Children' to the 2009 Montreal, London, Toronto, Winnipeg, Victoria Fringe Festivals, developing a musical with Hayley Gratto called ‘The Rose Garden: A comedic Fairy Tale Musical', and has co-created The Substitutes, a half-hour sit-com with Ingrid Haas and optioned by Tricon Productions.

Chelsea studied Comedic Scriptwriting at the Humber School of Comedy, Ryerson Theatre School, and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She encourages you to save the sloths - they're just too slow to do it on their own.
