Certain Breeds have been haunting dive bars in Vancouver's DTES with
their dark, new wave pop since 2005. Armed with a truckload of pro
gear, an elaborate set up of synthesizers, and a cello, this quartet of
awkward introverts play strange, psychedelic songs that are deeply
melancholic but unavoidably catchy.
