As cUPS (aka 'the specialest' and 'smiles for the blind') I have been making electronic music which embraces my love of disparate elements of the musical calaidescope. From haunting beauty to glitch to intense noise to singer-writer 'lo-laptop folkisms it's all been coming out of the same place.
For the past year + ihave been producing tracks for singer-songwriters such as Dustin Cole (new album out soon) Shuyler Jansen from Old Reliable and Wendy McNeill. My style has evolved from simplistic sounding down-tempo intelligentsia to an all out melange of no-holds barred experimentalisms.
My goal is to keep looking for that sublime place where noise meets melody and sound meets harmony to exact in toto the sound of a seering crush.
