artist Burning Love

Burning Love started in 2007 as a side project to the bands Cursed and Our Father, respectively. The idea was, despite their large differences of age, generation and frame of reference, to channel their varied favorites (from Black Flag and Hot Snakes to Kyuss or Turbonegro) and make some loud and riff driven punk songs that were creatively different than either of their previous bands, and to challenge themselves and their fans by striking out in a different musical and aesthetic direction.
BL has since taken to the front burner, released vinyl singles in the UK and North America, toured at home and overseas, and this summer, released their first full length LP, Songs For Burning Lovers on Canada's Deranged Records (Fucked Up) while hitting the road on an ambitious 50 city show North American tour with old friends, Louisville KY's Coliseum. Also planned for this year are appearances at NXNE, Halifax Pop Explosion, The Fest (Gainesville FLA) and further tours of Eastern Canada and the US before heading back to the UK and Europe for a 30 city November/December tour that includes festivals and shows with Municipal Waste, US Bombs, Lords and many more.
