Hailing from the humble ‘non-town’ of Bradford Ontario, but currently in living in Guelph (where all five boys study at U of G),
Burn Planetarium play mostly upbeat pop music about mostly depressing
subjects. Fixated with the themes of escapism, aging and exploration of all
kinds, the songs of Burn Planetarium’s self-titled debut EP attempt to reflect a
young person’s (or at least these particular young people’s) greatest anxieties
and fears while keeping the music as dynamic and interesting as possible.
