James Walsh grew up in Scarborough, Ontario playing music and enjoying hockey games around his neigbourhood. Going to Maple Leaf Gardens for games and concerts and to Ontario Place and the CNE Grounds for summer concerts was a part of his life from age 10. James started on drums and switched to guitar when he met Wayne Frost in the Beaches area of Toronto. James studied music and continued to play guitar while attending art classes.
James then traveled all over Canada and the USA playing music, teaching , and writing songs with musicians from all over the world.
Currently he works with his wife Keri A Walsh who is a great singer and melody maker. Both are a product of the Great Lakes Region, having similar backgrounds and a lasting forever love of music and each other. Interestingly they both love to travel and by chance met on the beach in Santa Monica, California. Whether it was fate or destiny, or just luck, Bristol Kids was born a year later on Vancouver Island.
Their album Wireless Dreams was released in 2012 on iTunes and CD Baby. And is produced by Tony Brock of the rock group The Babys, and Rod Stewart bands. Their style has been called a hybrid of Brit-Pop, Canadian Country and American Rock'n'Roll.
James and Keri love working together and are currently writing songs for a new EP titled "Warm Winter Nights". They have radio airplay all over the world and are like most musicians and love to travel. James endorses Godin Guitars made in Canada.
