Boomsmack Records is a new indie label based in Vancouver dedicated to releasing quality music that touches your soul. Their third release, and first full length album is a compilation of songs from artists from the Vancouver area. The album is at times a celebration of melancholia, sometimes bleak but always beautiful, with some songs offering a glimmer of hope and positivity. The album is mainly focused on vocal based electronica, with other songs moving away from the genre to give an organic feel. A perfect album for the long cold winter.
