Blackhurst consists of Adrian. that's it.
A one man band. After playing in The 4th Kind, Yoko Phono, Alchemy, & Dojo....
he went solo! His styles of music range from dubwise Global Electronica to Downtempo, Glitch, Minimal Techno, Ambient, Dub & Breaks. He likes to blur the lines & mix genres. Adrian is co-founder of the collective Beats Without Borders, a group of 4 producers/djs/musician/promoters that throw a monthly global fusion dance party in Vancouver since 2004. Blackhurst is Adrian's more 'left-field' material that leans towards the ambient & experimental. His other current project Bionic Love SoundSystem, focuses on global beats (fresh interpretations of global fusion, dub, dancehall riddims & breakbeats) fusing fresh sounds of synthesis with ancient instruments such as sitar, tabla, shakuhachi,
