biographical info

When Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace messaged Billy the Kid through MySpace in the Winter of 2007, there was no way to know what would become of their friendship. How can one predict working with Garth Hudson of The Band and Bob Dylan, Stan "The Baron" Behrens of Ruth Brown, the Four Tops and Willie Dickson, and Randy Cooke, drummer to Ringo Starr and Dave Stewart all within a single calendar year? From the bedroom of her Ontario apartment, she began scrawling on her bedsheets and walls the lyrics and chord changes that would eventually become "The Lost Cause", an autobiographical, self-released manifesto for any so-called "Lost Cause" who is willing to listen.

Us Broken Hearts

Download this song for free at http://www.billythekidonline.com We met in the parking lot of the high school where I got kicked out We'd make our money singing on the city streets downtown Playing the songs that no one knew Playing the songs that got us through When Patti Smith was 21 George told her all about How they would make it with this world or without You told me that was so naive And I thought hell if that is what it costs that's what I'd rather be Cause this world is full of us Broken
