Better Friends than Lovers formed in 2004 in east Van, recording one self-titled e.p. and a full length, Great Loves, which was released by Global Symphonic Records. All of our recordings were done by our friend Amy Worobec. We performed at festivals such as Ladyfest, Rock for Choice, Under the Volcano and the Halifax Pop Explosion, and shared the stage with some rad people like Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls, Swan Island, Lesbians on Ecstasy, & The Organ. Our last show was in 2008, at the Astoria in Vancouver with You Say Party! We Say Die!, following which several members of the band moved to other cities.
