Over the past eight years, Toronto based roots-rock band Boss Grunions has played local venues delivering their distinct style of music to appreciative audiences. Boss Grunions unique sound is based on intelligent and emotionally charged lyrics and guitar based music. The harmonies created by the vocal talents of singer/songwriters Reid Pickering and Michael Harris complement the guitar driven melodies. The strong rhythm section- Christopher Bennett on bass and Gerry Rozon on drums- provides a solid background for Pickering and Harris. The result of the Grunions' hard work and dedication is evident on their new CD, "A Little Closer to Home".
