Bob Egan is well known in Canada for his abilities on the steel guitar through his work with Blue Rodeo and many others. His new solo CD "The Promise" is already spreading the word about his talents as a singer-songwriter. Recorded at Greg Keelor's farm in the winter of 2001, Bob was joined by Travis Good (The Sadies), Bazil Donovan (Blue Rodeo), Richard Bell (The Band), Cam Giroux (Luther Wright and the Wrongs), Lisa MacIssac on Cape Breton fiddle, and the Be Good Tanyas on harmonies.
