biographical info
In '99 Black Hour attracted attention from metal fans and critics, being touted as "Toronto's greatest metal band" by the Toronto Star.
Spurred on by this success, the band recorded their first self titled album, released in August 2001. That year included a slot in the CMW festival, airplay from CBC radio, CRFC 109.1, Rock95, KRFM 96.5 and press from Umbrella Music, Spill Magazine, Pit Magazine among others. The attention helped sell out the entire stock of "Black Hour".
Lineup changes have brought singer Paul Feather, guitarist Keith Carman and bassist Trevor Balla into the fold to join founding member/guitarist Andrew Roudny on their new EP "Rebellion" bringing piano, synths and horns into the crushing base of heavy guitars and drums.
The band plans to tour extensively in 2003 and 3 video projects with director James Coatez are also in the works. Black Hour is currently unsigned and seeking management. To contact Black Hour, please send mail to theband@blackhour.com.
