Belvedere (formed in '95) released their debut album "Because No One Stopped Us" in '98. The album sold over 3000 copies and helped them win the Bad Religion/Warped Tour battle of the bands contest in '98. The band has also played with Strung Out, Good Riddance, Gob, SNFU and Ten Foot Pole among others. Their latest full length "Twas Hell Said Former Child" was released on Montreal label Union 2112, and combines harmony and melody with fierce hardcore undertones. After the release of "'Twas", Belevdere toured Canada and USA with bands like The Mad Caddies, Satanic Surfers and The Suicide Machines as well as 3 dates on The Vans Warped Tour 2002. They also did their first European tour, where they played with Satanic Surfers, No Use For A Name and Pulley. Belvedere recently recording at the legendary "Inner Ear Studio" with Brian Baker (Bad Religion) and Steve Hansjen (Minor Threat) sharing production duties. The split "Hometown Advantage" is avilable on Union 2112.
