Our drummer of 6 years is moving on to bigger and better things!  We will be celebrating our last show with him in Lethbridge on April 3rd.  Come see Matty tear it up with us one last time!
Because of this change, BF is taking a short break to train a new drummer and get back out on the road....  Ill keep ya'll posted! 

First things first. 
The big all ages show at the Epcor Centre has been cancelled!  Sorry
for any inconvenience.  On the bright side, we've added an even bigger all ages show to our
calendar to be held at Olympic Plaza with Hot little Rocket.  This is a free show, so come
one come all!!

Second Things Second
We are planning the western leg of our tour for late summer, early autumn, and our eastern
portion for early winter.  Stay tuned for details on when Beija Flor will be passing through
your town!

Beija Flor is proud to announce a new member to our group!  While recording the American over the last few months, we asked a friend of ours "Hoyee" to come and shred it up on Violin.  She came into the studio and blew us all away with her talent, attention to detail, and commitment.  Afterwards, things just didn't sound the same without her, so in the great tradition of Beija Flor, we asked her to join us!  What started in 2003 as a two piece, has slowly grown to a 6 piece.  By 2010, we forecast that we will out-number the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.  (and then we will challenge them to a dual!)

“The American”

Yes, I know, the new album is not out yet.  Our largest fault as a group is that we are too particular about our sound, and due to that, are taking for-bloody-ever to put our record out.  You will all be happy to know, that we are finished recording the tracks, and are in the final stages of mixing and mastering.  We hope to be completed before 2008, ha ha ha.  Keep visiting us at www.myspace.com/beijaflor, as we hope to be adding new MP3s in the coming weeks.

I havent logged into this site in waaaaay tooo long!!!  We are finally going to be releasing our new album, "The american"  this autumn.  We are all pretty excited, and hope you are too!

Its about time we got up and running on CBC 3.  We will soon be posting our entire album here for free, as well as our world famous DIY Video for "Complete"
