The brainchild of Edmonton guitarist Curtis Ross, Bebop Cortez is a raunchy hybrid of electronic funk, dark hip-hop beats, squelching bass and obscene movie quotes. 2005's debut album "The Romantic Panther Commander" was a surprise independent college radio success and charted at the top of nearly every electronic chart across Canada. Bebop's long awaited second album "Who Bangin" is an all new collection of party jams that expound on such themes as David Suzuki's family dynamics, 1980's food court arcades, and the heat death of the universe. Look out for the dance floor banger "The Man of the Year" and the electro-cowboy anthem "David Suzuki and his Twin Sister Marcia".
