It all started during the Vietnam War, and with an acoustic Yamaha guitar purchased on the islands of the Azores, Portugal. Yes, it was my father's old guitar that occupied a venerable position in the upper regions of an overcrowded closet. One day, years ago, during what I recall was a quest to retrieve the Holy Grail, that old guitar came down to greet me, and I was then struck by the notion that I should put that old six-string to work. At the time, I had no idea that I would grow so quickly to have such a strong passion for music.

Ten years old, and the self-assured, independent sort, I insisted that I could learn to play that guitar by myself... but common sense (in the form of my mother) prevailed, and I was convinced to take lessons. After a few brief sessions with a local music teacher, I abandoned that old Yamaha in favour of a new electric sound. I entered a "school of rock" program and began performing with bands at several local venues as a lead guitarist and vocalist.

Fast forward to the present: I'm now a solo performer, sometimes reveling in the rich sounds of my new acoustic, sometimes breaking ground with the boldness of my electric; entertaining audiences in a variety of musical styles (with a smattering of comedy, as well). I do everything: from Rock, Pop, and Country, to Blues, Folk, and Metal, gearing my performances for whatever the audience will want to hear.

Throughout my career, I've also worked in multiple studios with a myriad of diverse bands, recording, producing, engineering, mixing, and mastering many distinct genres of music. Sitting in front of a mixing board tracking take after take of the same guitar solo may not be the most glamorous activity, but apart from getting up on stage and just playing, it's one of the things I know best.

But I digress, the bottom line is: I love music - hearing it; playing it; performing it; recording it. I love every song, every chord, every harmony, and every beat. But most of all, I love sharing my music with all of you, because you're the ones who make it happen, and without you, it wouldn't be half as fun.
