AutoMag is an eastern European electro pop band that's been around since the early 70's. As pioneers of the electro genre (especially in Soviet Russia) they played in closed venues, usually only for about 3-8 people consisting of friends and closely related family.
AutoMag were first known as "electron" but they thought that was nerdy so they changed the name.
Their first bassist was killed in an agriculture accident involving a stampede of goats.
Most of the band members really enjoy a nice meal from time to time.
The band decided to get together for a reunion tour in the late 90's seeing as Soviet Russia was no more (and hadn't been for quite some time) and they might be able to play real venues and not uncle Nikolay's living room. They later had a gig in uncle Nikolay's living room.
Since the reunion tour they've made songs now and again. I turned them on to the internets and since then they haven't looked back, becoming mild internet sensations countries like Bolivia and Uzbekistan (neither of which we have been able to locate on a map).
AutoMag would like to think everybody who supported them through thick and thin, especially uncle Nikolay. Sergei is sorry he kicked your lamp last wednesday, uncle Nikolay, but he got excited during the bridge game. Sadly he does not intend to reimburse you the lamp.
