At 26, Ashleigh Eymann is poised to bring a new voice, breathing new life into the music scene. She first honed her chops performing with Victoria, BC's 'Stir Fry Collective' in 2002, which served as the perfect vehicle for her to reach the ears of many local musicians.
As a member of The Current, in Victoria, Ashleigh has performed in Vancouver and across Vancouver Island including opening spots for groups such as Jurassic 5, Brother Ali, and Mike Relm at Victoria's JazzFest International. "The Current offers something unique in the world of hip-hop. Just B and Ishkan emcee and rhyme, while DJ Murge provides the beats on the turntables and Ashleigh Eymann brings the soul with her vocals, keyboard and guitar acting as a catalyst to create something truly new and unique."
Now based in Victoria, BC, Ashleigh continues to work with The Current, as well as pursuing a solo singer/songwriter career.
