Kurt Nielsen was born 1974 in Nanaimo B.C Canada. By age 8 Kurt became aware of his visual artistic side by the praise of his classmates. At 13, Kurt intuitively learned to play guitar.
The only formal music instruction he learned was recorder in Elementary School grade 4 and snare drum in Secondary School grade 7.
In 1999, Kurt realized the name for his unique artistic works in both music & visual art as the "Ascension Series".
By 26 he began working in color with his "Ascension Series" artwork with Acrylics.
Kurt's first published music is the music single "The Key' a run time of approximately 57 minutes released in 2007. Since then he has produced his own video as an art instruction entitled "Accelerated Artistic Development Program" and then recently another music single "Spiritflight - Ascension Activation".
