I'm Art Kenyon, the tracks here are from my solo project. Vancouver is the place I call home right now; but, in the last five years of playing live with various acts, I've had the opportunity to play most major cities between Vancouver Island and Edmonton. I also had the pleasure of playing a show in New York at Crash Mansion in 2010.
Most weeks I play 3-4 shows around town- if you were led here by a show, you can add me for more info at ----> https://www.facebook.com/m.art.kenyon -
My EP was tracked this last year over the course of six days. It is available online via. Bandcamp or Itunes. Vince Ditrich produced and drummed on the record- Richard Sera engineered it and played keys- Norm Fisher kindly played the bass on it. I'm very lucky to have the support of these great players. After a digital pre-release, Cocoon won in the Rock/Alternative category of the Mid-Atlantic Song Writing Contest and was featured on a North American mixtape.
Frontside Promotions agreed to do a Canadian College campaign for the EP, starting the first week of March.
There is a music video for one of the tracks ("This Girl's Trouble") that was made by Justin Bergler and Artin Ahmadi- It can be found here --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDh8gwdjvjE
Art Kenyon is fun for the whole family. Art Kenyon isn't recommended for pregnant women (your unborn children may jam out of your stomach). Art Keynon cures constipation and should be taken twice daily. Side effects include head-banging, and erectile dysfunction. Art Kenyon, now canned in myspace music just like everyone else!
