As many of you know - eight months ago I moved to Cambridge MA with a single goal: MAKE MUSIC!
I am excited to say that Cambridge has welcomed me with open arms! First I began working with Mike Davidson, a talented Boston-based producer, then Mike lined up a roster of amazing musicians to play on my recording and most recently I booked a series of shows in Boston, Cambridge, New York and London. To summarize - things have been going swimmingly!
THE PROJECT
The money raised will finance the full release of my upcoming EP Big Spoon. This will include manufacturing the CDs, sending discs to radio stations and reviewers across North America and Europe, shooting a music video and photographs, paying for the cover art for the album and printing merchandise and posters! THE GOAL + YOUR HELP I need your help! Kickstarter provides an opportunity for artists to seek micro funding from their friends, family, fans and sometimes total strangers who support the arts. My goal is to raise $15,000 which will cover the majority of the costs for the expenses listed above. There are two ways you can support me with this:
1 - you can donate by going to kickstarter.com, searching my name and pledging whatever you are able.
2 - you can pass this on to your friends, mailing lists, post it on your facebook page and help me take the campaign viral. The more people who read it, the more likely I am to make the goal! Kickstarter works on an all or nothing basis - please help me make my goal!
If everyone donated $10 and passed it on to 10 people it wouldn't take long to reach the goal! And guess what - for every person who donates you will receive something in exchange for your donation.
