biographical info
Anna is the result, back lash and left overs of playing with a variety of groups and people.
These are the songs that never fit in anywhere.
Her heart in Newfoundland but her soul devoured at Ryerson University's Acting Program in Toronto, Anna lives in the crummiest of apartments with her guitars, violin, viola, xylophone, juice harp and egg shaker (where is that little guy...)
She writes and preforms with her new band- Victoria Fuller, Matt Marcoccia, Mark Wilson and Simon Miminis.
Music written without knowing it, classically trained and with half a brain, Anna began seriously investing in songwriting between Toronto dorm rooms and St.John’s Basements (07/08), where her EP entitled " I Scoop You Up'' was released(8.08) thanks to her fantastic
friend and fellow musician Len O'Neil who graciously produced the CD.
To classify the sound is a difficult task. Lets just call it music written from THE GUT. (Nothing that comes from the brain is helpful.)
Anna is eager to keep writing and preforming and hopefully create something that matches the sounds she feels.
Take a listen. Sing along. Shout along. Turn it off. Turn it back on.
"Take redemption he said. I took the music instead!"
