"Are you having trouble creating an artist bio? I mean, where to start..?

(..shifts to slightly more upbeat elevator music)
Have you.. like Anna Danova herself.. careened through such a variety of musical genres and experiences as to be relatively mindbogglingly impossible to mark it all down in graphic format?

Think first about your early childhood:
Did you, listen to and sing-a-long with Fats Waller, Tony Bird and Diana Ross records?
Later, did you sing "Little Lamb, Who Made Thee?" solos at the 9am chapel service at your neighbourhood church?
Were you part of an award winning 9 voice, triple trio ensemble in public school?
Did you play bass trombone in jazz band?

Yes. Anna Danova did too.. Or rather, her real life alter ego, "Ann Denny" did all of these things, whilst "Anna Danova" patiently waited for her time, in the sun.

Yes, Ann Denny (aka Anna Danova) led a long and fruitful life, full of professional jazz singing, TrypTych Vocal Arts mezzo-soprano lead roles, musical theatre triple threatedness (Iolanthe, Iolanthe), even add in a dash of Icelandic National Opera chorus (winter 1999, here's looking at YOU.. oh those outdoor geothermally heated swimming pools..)...

(music turns ominous tho still unthreateningly elevator-ee)
Until, one fateful day, when the recommendation of ONE comedy video (by a trusted friend) on Facebook, changed the course of her (and her) life forever.

8 months and far too many reruns of season 1 of Flight of the Conchords later.. Ann Denny had to concede to her desire to create her own musical persona.. in order to say many things in public which she would otherwise be unable to utter. Anna Danova was, born.

True, the birthing process was a long one, from the seeds of everyday heartaches and mundane trifles, to the arduous climbs up the stairways of comedy open mic nights and the glum stares of drunk jocks from Buffalo..

But, like water to the ocean, this little droplet of crazy found, finds, is finding its way to its people. In future bios you will read about Anna Danova's long and illustrious career in the comedic/musical/theatrical entertainment business.

Really recently she's been uploading music videos to youtube in order to entertain her growing facebook fan group and making fridge magnets out of glass marbles and ink jet printer mini pictures (frankly, they are soo adorable, email me and I'll send you one! partmodel@gmail.com)
