Angus Jourdain Jr., 29, is from Lac La Croix First Nation, Ontario, a tiny community of 300. Lac La Croix is 200 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Angus is a proud father of two. Angus has been singing since he was a young man and started song writing a few years back when he stopped drinking and uses his song writing for his healing purposes. Angus also turns to his guitar when he needs to have release and time to himself. Angus’ music is very personal and many people can relate to his songs which may include such words as alcoholism, rock and roll or love. His musical influences include his dad, Angus Jourdain Sr., Dallas Green and Keith Whitley. Angus writes music for all people keeping his family and his community close to his heart when composing and writing his songs. Angus has two songs who hit number 1 in the Aboriginal music industry, Warriors in 2008 and Waiting in 2011. The much anticipated first CD will be released in the spring of 2012.
