Andrea Gal is a musical triple threat as a talented
pianist, accomplished vocalist and first-class songwriter. Weave these
impressive talents with her charismatic, engaging and confident

Andrea's
mixture of jazz, country, folk, rock, and contemporary gospel sounds
give her the ability to lure people of all different ages and styles
into her music and melodies.
In 2004,
Andrea reached the Top 48 out of 10,000 competitors in Canadian Idol ,
the popular reality television show. Comments from the judges said
Andrea's voice was "inspiring" and resembled the "gorgeous tone and
sound of a saxophone."
In the
inaugural 2003 Brantford Idol Andrea was crowned “Brantford Idol” after
she won the adult category. Andrea and her sister Christine won the
youth talent search for the London area's Canadian Association of Fairs
and Exhibitions in 1998. They also competed at the 1999 national
competition in Quebec City.
The
foundation for these impressive wins and her current accomplished and
relaxed stage presence started when Andrea was five years old. Her
parents enrolled her in piano lessons and a few years later her vocal
lessons started. Andrea has completed her Royal Conservatory Grade 8
piano and taught herself to play the acoustic guitar.
Andrea
started performing for audiences from the age of eight and since then
venues such as weddings, bars, clubs, church functions, restaurants,
festivals, and fundraisers have all been graced by her moving voice and
passionate performances.
Andrea
recorded a complete, original spiritual album in 2006, and has recently
released her follow-up album titled “the key of me”. Her hit single
“Like You” began airplay on the radio early 2007.
With
her talent, professionalism, and passion for music, Andrea continues to
capture attention and touch hearts everywhere her voice is heard.
