AlterSounD is a four-piece rock band assembled from the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. With a mix of alternative, grunge, punk, and a splash of folk and acoustic tossed in, AlterSounD's versatile sound shirks the crowd of stagnant genres and instead explores the dark spaces in between. The original members, Nate (Vocals/lyricist), Kevy (chordsmith/Bass/background vox) and J.D. (guitar) have spent the last few years developing their unique sound and a rich catalog of material. The line-up was finally solidified at the beginning of 2009 when Dave joined the band on drums. With a completed line-up and a brand new name, AlterSounD is unleashing bits and pieces from their diverse backgrounds, transcending the limits of conventional music and offering their own unique "alter"sound.
