"Billions of little robots came up from the ocean. They sought to conquer the human race. They altered their appearance to look like the humans in hopes of an easy victory. Soon, they were completely indeterminable from humans. The robots took over and no one has noticed the difference." I came from deep in the woods of South Western Ontario. I started playing the violin when I was six. When I was seventeen I was in a car accident that resulted in two broken legs and a few months of immobility. I learned to play guitar, keyboards and bass in that time and bought a loop pedal after I recovered. I started performing at high school coffee houses and talent shows. After graduating high school I came to Toronto to attend OCAD University. I started performing solo with multiple instruments through the loop pedal as Alphabot that winter. I've been performing in venues around downtown Toronto since then. I also performed at the Blue Skies Music Festival in August of 2008 and will be playing there again in 2009. I went on the road with Spiral Beach on September of 2008 and released my first full length album later that month. This year I started performing with a band on occasion instead of a loop pedal. I still perform both ways."
