Alenna Mazur is a seventeen-year old singer/songwriter from Roblin, MB. Her biggest passion is music, whether it's playing piano, writing songs, singing, dancing, teaching piano or learning new instruments...currently she's been working on her skills as a drummer and guitarist.
Alenna began playing the fiddle and singing with her family at age 5. She took up the piano when she was seven and wrote her first song at age thirteen. Her debut album was recorded in Dauphin, Manitoba in 2008, at Unity Records, engineered by Kelly Martin. Her band consists of her brothers, Mike and Matt, her dad, Larry, and her friend, Jeremy Walmsley of Neepawa, Manitoba. Five of her piano students also make a guest appearance in her song "Dreams Come True (Kennedy's Song)"
After grad, Alenna plans on getting an education degree at University of Regina and then studying contemporary songwriting and performing in the United States.
Her music is a wide variety of genres and is mainly written out of personal experiences. She believes that music should be inspiring, honest and of course, catchy.
