biographical info
After The Lounge - London's rock-dance band: From the start... Formed in 2001 in London, Ontario, After The Lounge has changed numerous members, but always kept original creation players, G. S. Bollert (Lead Vocals) and Bryan Parsons (guitarist). 2006 roster which will be the bands "final and dream team" says lead G. S. Bollert, includes Carlos La Torre on drums and Mattie Torek on bass. The bands sound never colliding more robust takes Bollert's jazz high range background to an energetic front with Parsons artistic wild guitar. Torek and La Torre, both experienced players who have been around have added a strong percussion end to the band, along with creative style. Traveling from city to city, the London Ontario based band is streaking a name for themselves and their own original music. Their sound is unlike other bands and it stands out when they slightly change the cover songs they add to their setlist. From Elvis Presley to Ton Loc, they do it all while throwing in a song or two of their own to catch your attention. The band enjoys the odd dance with a cute girl while they play a popular tune originally performed by Billy Idol. The new single from A.T.L. called Beauty is now available in, HMV, Chapters, CD Plus, along with many independent music stores. The 3 songs single also contains the bands songs: Reaching (Living For My Son) and Why Did We (Don't Say Goodbye). For more information on the bands album, check online at www.afterthelounge.com. A full CD by the band is planned for March 2007. The full CD will include their regurlarly performed songs, University Girls, Lights Go Out and Before My Eyes.
