biographical info
Aviator came to fruition in the summer of 2002 with the intentions and hopes of creating something worthwhile; creating a music that would not soon be lost to the masses of clichéd radio rock, or that followed in the fathomless footprints of other bands before them. Combining influences from styles such as jazz, punk and hardcore to more obscure sub-genres as shoegazer, lo-fi, and math-rock. Aviator found itself with members Ken Merkley (Vocals/Guitar) Eeb (Guitar/Vocals) Kev Mason (Bass) and Emilio Portal(Drums).
The future proves promising for the boys as they are currently booking an Ontario tour for the March break, and soon thereafter a full Canadian tour from coast to coast this summer. Aviator is constantly striving for more, working as hard as possible to make their passion for music, performance and creation their lives; reaching as many people as possible is always the common goal, Aviator will stop at nothing for this goal to be achieved.
