Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the audiens are an instrumental rock quartet boasting progressive arrangements with sharp hooks; melodic landscapes and a running of the bulls rhythm section. The most aparent genre comparison that comes to mind is to the instrumental pop bands of the 60's. the audiens take pop/rock formulas apart and put them back together in such way that the voices of the instruments sing loudly and assertively for themselves.
