artist Artistic Arithmetic Collective

= a self-sustaining collective of artists coming together in the name of creative collaboration in which all aspects of creation, production, performance, and promotion are handled by the collective itself. The collective will wholly create a CD from scratch compiling the work of the artists involved, with all instruments being played by artists in the collective. The group will then tour the country to promote their work. Each artist will have time to showcase their skills with instrumental backup from fellow touring artists with a variety of instruments. The shows will have a dynamic energy with arrangements ranging from solo performances to full band jams. The collective's aim is to facilitate collaboration with other independent artists and give emerging talent a chance to introduce their work to audiences all across the country. The collective is pooling together their artistic resources to learn new skills from each other and support one another in all artistic endeavors. The result = a unique, supportive approach to the creation and performance of independent Canadian art.
