Armadillo hit the stage of their first show with maximal stage presence, booming, lightning fast bass lines, thundering cries of the drum kit, powerfully delivered guitar riffs and sensational lyrics. Little did they or anyone else experiencing this euphoria know, this would not be the last time Armadillo would hit the stage. Their first show was all in all, a success, Armadillo placed second, however they had still not tamed all of the pop punk forces of the city.The pop punk "rockers" had barely won the battle, as you will see.they most definitely did not win the war. With the success of their show, the band mates decided that Armadillo would continue to rock the Calgary music scene. In may Armadillo hit the stage again at the Underground in downtown Calgary.Armadillo first hit the stage with a superb cover of Wrathchild, followed by their new single FRESHLY BAKED COOKIES, and after, cooled it down with the haunting and glorious echo of THROUGH THE WINTER and of course, the anthem...TOO MUCH ROCK FOR ONE HAND. This performance was good enough to give Armadillo Second Place in the show...After this came many recordings, many epic and kosher nights of field parties, and epic quests...Unfortunately, Evan was leaving to the other side of the country for St. Francis Xavier university...But this was not the end of Armadillo.In fact, upon Evan's return Armadillo recorded a decently solid version of the Epik.Armadillo continues to stay together.And has an upcoming show in December
