biographical info

Been doing the Edmonton local scene for a little while and I got fed up with the instability of the bands I was in. My own singing is a major herdle but I'm just going to keep working on it, and hopefull Bert Bacharach style the songs will be good enough on there own for you to forgive a missed note or two. Arlington Revolution is the development of musical abilities as well as some serious growth as an artist and person. My english 20 and 30 teachers contributed quite a bit to the development of this music. I'm not trying to be innovative, or impressive, or show you something you haven't already seen, because you've seen it all before, that's just the truth about it, and there in lies the beauty. I was at a place where writing about superficialities seemed so drab and cliche. But my Dad let me know something that had an impact on the way I write and what I write. He said "Sometime's it's just in your soul, and you have to let that out" For me that's what art is about: reflecting on yourself to the point where you find the base truths about whatever it is that you have in your soul. So I just do what I do, if you find that it's something you can relate to, or at least shake your bon-bon ricky martin style to, cool. Life makes it hard to live, live life easy.
