Angela Siracusa: Pop she goes and Country she sings! Angela's singing career has gone off like a rocket since the release of her Debut Album, Mov'n On, November 2006; establishing her as a singer/songwriter with luminary qualities. The Album's uniqueness was the result of concerted teamwork. Desiree Corso who writes about relationships and temporary lifestyles, wanted to write for Angela's music desperately: "Within one minute of hearing Angela sing one of my lyrics, I knew just then that this dynamic songstress would be the one who could take my lyrics to a new level. With these rockin', "countrified" songs, her dream of replacing the Indie classification with a Label can be seen just around the corner. Celebrated Fado Blues musician, Mike Siracusa, Angela's brother and lifelong mentor, produced Angela's first Album Mov'n On, while her current producer is famed Brad Stella who hopes to have her next Album available late this year or early 2008. Once again Angela has collaborated with her trusted friend and lyricist of her first Album, Desiree Corso. "Writing with Desiree has been a blast! I love her like a sister!! "Whatever I do, I do it with gusto and vigor; I can't help it. Watch me and you will catch my drift! Living the life of a singer/songwriter is my passion. I dedicate morning, noon and night to perfect my talents. I'm forever thinking creatively and process all that as quickly as I can so that my newfound skills will fashion killer songs. Sharing my voice and music with those that receive it is a precious gift to me: I don't take it lightly nor do I take my fans for granted.
Writing lyrics for the Country genre is my favorite type of writing. My desire is endless; I have to tell someone's story; sometimes mine and sometimes yours. I think about my fans a lot when I write; they are with me in spirit. I am inspired by their lives and then write to inspire change or simply add some spice to someone's day! It's really important for me to continually create and share. Human beings can be finicky, at times being "in" today but gone tomorrow; we've all seen devotions change drastically in this music industry. That is why I don't rest on my laurels. It has never been advantageous to be a sloth. I am in a great place now and ready to rock! I intend to go places and take my fans along for the long joy ride, that's just the kind of girl I am."
