AJ is a gifted & passionate producer, remixer & DJ who is often found spining in clubs or sequestered away deep in his cosy Vancouver basement studio on a musical sojourn crafting his eclectically styled rock, funk & jazz edged trip-hop and drum & bass driven vibrational odysseys. "I enjoy writing, studying, listening to & mixing all kinds of music. It's difficult for me to pick just one genre to focus on & limit myself to so I have been combining elements of various genres & incorperating them into my own expressions, all while aiming to maintain a distinct AJ-ish flava." Presently auditioning vocalists to collaborate with & shopping around for a indy label that will help AJ further develop & promote his art, he is now poised for the jump into North Americas music scene & is ready to share the fruits of his soulful journeys. "Recently I have been taking a Laptop DJ approach to my live shows, using a Powerbook & some outboard gear. My goal in the near future is to rearrange this music with a live band & get a really vibey jam out on the road! DJ-ing is a great medium for a DIY artist like myself to present the music but I feel it misses that critical human element of a live performance that really helps people get even deeper into the vibe."
