In the summer of 2004, Ray paid a visit to the Jean Cocteau exhibition at the Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts . The exhibition had inspired him to re-discover what music really means to him. With his gaining interest in classical, avant garde jazz, post-rock, and ambient music, Ray started the 'After Ten Years It Is Forever' project to create an experimental sound that blends these various kinds of music together in an experimental and yet accessible way.
