Take a grown-up classical music child prodigy with a fascination for Brit-culture and a love of the music that
was born in the era of The Who - mix in a little 80s Mod with 90s Power-pop and you get ACEFACE. File them
under Manic Street Preachers meets Charlatans UK.
ACEFACE was formed in 1997 by singer/songwriter Carl Nanders with the help of drummer Michael Marshall.
Matthew Leaker was recruited to perform bass duties. Various players came and went, and now Carl, Mike and
Matt welcome guitarist Freek, and keyboardist Rob.
They are currently in the studio recording their
critically aclaimed conceptional pecie about a young man
pain and anguish in 1960's divided Berlin. With thriveing guitars,
new wave synths and songs with complex themes exixtentialism
amongst the working class.
