For Torley Wong (aka "A Techno Kid"), there can only be such lifelong passions he's captivated by as music (obviously), more music, and staring at a girl in his mind's eye who's wearing a fluorescent yellow dress with blue trim ("It reminds me of being in love," he emotes over a cup of oversugared coffee). An awfully hyper but happy-go-lucky lad, Wong started this composing music thing when he was 8. Back then, of course, he was big into the classical heavies and reckoned himself to be an admirer of J.S. Bach. Presently in the spacetime continuum and 19 years old, he's still very much into that but recently had the nerve to cut into a very different spectrum of the musical universe — "techno", also known as electronic music. You could perhaps think of his work as being Chemical Bros., Fatboy Slim, or The Prodigy gone classical... perhaps!
