biographical info

A History of Night is a new song writing project. Song ideas are stripped down to the basics, composed and arranged on recycled acoustic guitars and double bass. (which is the Tiny Hearts Band) Once we are happy with an arrangement we bring these compositions into a live band electric environment. (A History of Night)

As a forming member and a primary writing partner in pop group All of Your Friends, Chris Cameron has performed at the POP Montreal Festival, the Mint Records/Exclaim Roadshow opening for the New Pornographers & Novillero, the Western Canadian Music Awards, Jazz Festival Winnipeg and more. Primarily a self taught guitarist, Chris Dael Cameron now occupies his time with both keyboards and synthesizers, vocals, drum programming and production work. In the past he has offered opening support to the Hidden Cameras, Frog Eyes, Apostle of Hustle, Rebekkah Higgs, Golden Dogs, Born Ruffians, Tokyo Police Club and many other Canadian indie groups.

Noel Linsey, one of Winnipeg's most reclusive and underated bass players has toughed it out in Winnipeg's music scene for over ten years. Noel has performed and collaborated with Trophy Wife, All of Your Friends, Disasterman and more. He's had charting numbers on 92.9 Kick Fm and supported many well known indie groups like Laura Peek & the Winning Hearts, Immaculate Machine, Paper Moon, the Hylozoists, Hidden Cameras, the Acorn and more. Mainly a bassist, the new project finds Noel playing keyboards/synth, guitar, programming and singing. Noel has performed at the POP Montreal festival, The Winnipeg Jazz Festival and more.

Trevor Duncan is the newest addition to A History of Night. Drums, drums, drums!

All three are also members of the VibeRiders, (Umbrella Corporation).
