biographical info
From Brampton, Ontario Canada, emerge five friends who get off on making music. They all met in high school playing in other bands; however, it wasn’t until June 2003 (their last year of high school) when they finally formed the group. A Constant Reminder has been quoted as sounding like Jimmy Eat World, New Found Glory and The Used all mixed up into one powerful sound. While piecing together a mixture of emo, rock, punk and pop they have created a sound they like to call their own. Determined to create music that is from the heart, these five young musicians recorded their first EP entitled "All Things Left of Here" in the summer of 2004. The CD includes such tracks as "Ellis" and "For the Better Part of Two Years". Following the release of their first EP, A Constant Reminder decided it would be best to shorten the distance between band members and simply all move into a house together. Here, living in London On, A Constant Reminder have been working furiously on writing and producing new songs for their follow up LP due out at the end of the summer 2005. Living together since September 2004 has really allowed the band the freedom to be as creative with their song writing process as they have always wanted. With the bands two year anniversary coming up this June, they are finally ready to take on the entire country. A Constant Reminder are a dedicated band who love their music and love sharing it with as many people as they can. Be sure to watch for them in 2005.
