A new sound is rising.
With a sound reminiscent of the days when music was worth listening to, four skids from Abbotsford are exploding onto the scene with a sound that has been far too long in coming. A Blissful Mutation (of modern equations) is a band with a purpose. A band with a strong determination to overthrow the one-dimensional "bread rock" that is ever so present these days, and put feeling back into music.
With influences ranging from the synth-pop of bands like the Cure and Depeche Mode to the indie-rock fury of the Pixies and Sonic Youth, A Blissful Mutation blend familiar formulas with an original twist to create a sound unlike any other.
