"Musical soul mates have a way of reuniting...Over 10 years ago Antonio Marcello and Dionysios Roussianos shared the stage in the group Midpoint touring Canada in support of their independent debut album and striving to achieve just a small fraction of what great song writing duos had before them. The chemistry was instant but the timing was slightly off. The grunge era was ushered in and melodic rock was dealt a lethal blow. They went their separate ways but stayed in touch as friends, both honing their musical skills and continuing to write and perform in different capacities.
2010 A.D. represents the song writing reunion of Antonio and Dionysios. With their passion for music still intense but geography standing in the way, modern technology has stepped in and allowed them to connect and collaborate over the 500 plus mile expanse; creating music that is both new and innovative while melodically explosive. Consider the calibre and cohesiveness of their music then wonder how they do it without ever being in the same room together? It’s the bond they built years ago, out on the road and the musical telepathy they share today that allows them to take a single vision, fuse their identities with it and give birth to a musically textured and vocally memorable sound.
