This is every kid's worst nightmare.

You're in the school band, you've spent weeks (maybe months) preparing for a big performance, in front of a packed gymnasium, and something goes horribly wrong.

In this video, the Eisenhower Junior High Band in Darien, Illinois is performing the U.S. national anthem and right in the middle of the song, the cymbal player breaks his cymbal.

OMG - what to do? Well, this guy keeps his cool and does what any patriotic, cymbal playing, junior high student in America would do.

He salutes the flag for the rest of the song. The trouble starts around 1:05 and note the faces on the two drummers beside him.
