When it came to choosing a band to kick off our CBC Beetle Roadtrip in Vancouver, we had a dream list.
At the top of that list was the amazing Kelowna/Vancouver rock 'n' roll band Yukon Blonde, and to our great delight and honour, they said yes.
The reason we asked Yukon Blonde was pretty simple... they're an awesome band, their Juno and Polaris-nominated album Tiger Talk is a career record filled with roadtrip rockers, and they themselves are seasoned road warriors.
Sure enough, they had a few tips to share about surviving a roadtrip, as well as a few parting gifts, and an awesome, stripped-down, spine-tingling performance which you can see here.
