Singer-Songwriter, Pop

West Coast icon Bill Henderson is a passionate guy. About life. Certainly about music. He has spent more than 50 years in the thick of it, not just as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for legendary rock band Chilliwack, but all the other roads he's taken, including advocating for musicians and songwriters on the industry side.

It's not surprising, then, that Henderson has come up with a passionate My Playlist. The recurring theme?

Sex.

And love: lost, found, temporarily misplaced.

We're talking classic stuff here, starting with Jeff Beck's "Dirty Mind" and ending with an excerpt of "What Love" by the Collectors, an early incarnation of Chilliwack, and still much revered.

So Henderson certainly knows how to passionately grab a fan's attention. And that emotion seems to shoot both ways. There's a petition afoot to get this veteran rocker inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. That would make his fans pretty passionate about him.
