The sun set at 8:44 p.m. in Toronto on May 23, the day of the CBCMusic.ca Festival. Jenn Grant scored the coveted sunset position, closing the second stage while the sun made its descent. Bathed in a warm glow that she both reflected and beamed of her own accord, she delivered a set of music that perfectly captured the mood of the magic hour.

Grant's talented husband, Daniel Ledwell, filled in the guitar solos and even stole a kiss while they shared the mic on "Bring Me a Rose." CBC Music's own Buck 65 rapped a verse on "Spades" and drummer Michael Brushey and bassist Tavo Diez de Bonilla filled in the other hues of gold.
