Happy Endings

posted by Lisa Christiansen on May 11, 2012

Coming up, Cold Specks joins me in the studio.

Did you catch the season finale of The Vampire Diaries last night? I didn’t but I did watch Community and the other night The New Girl and Grey’s Anatomy is waiting in the PVR queue. It’s always exciting to see how things can wrap up, yet promise more. Unless of course it’s the actual end, then it’s a series finale, and those are a whole other thing all together.

On today’s show a tribute of sorts to the end of the story. I know I’ll forever associate Journey with The Sopranos and will never Stop Believing. And I really was so happy that Ross and Rachel finally got together all those years ago and still think Joey is living with Monica and Chandler.

Now over to you:

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE FINALES?
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO SAY GOODBYE?

I always like explosions. And not looking.

Appetite for Distraction

with host Lisa Christiansen

Five days a week Lisa Christiansen brings you the best Canadian indie music and meandering thoughts on the world’s woes, triumphs, and social faux pas. Sounds heady, doesn’t it? But don’t worry; I also talk a lot about metal music and some gossip to round it all out.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

PODCAST SCHEDULE

Lisa's podcast, Extended Play, is currently on hiatus.

Her show is a mix of Canadian independent music, and lots of chat on two of her other favourite things: conversation and metal.

Lisa is also the host of the first non-musical podcast from CBC Radio 3 called Extended Play, ideas and interviews from musicians and other artists, and is also the host of Full Metal Podcast, a selection of the best Canadian indie metal on its second installment.
